You must receive training before you operate the gantry cranes or lifting hoists.
The training includes operational competence, general safety awareness and specific safety training related to the operation of the equipment and the lifting process.
All staff and students should request training from School Safety Representative, Malcolm Stafford, telephone (+61 8) 6488 7097.
On completion of training, a Gantry Crane and Lifting Hoist Training Record must be completed and held on file.
Gantry Crane and Lifting Hoist Training Records must be completed and filed in the Gantry and Hoist Training Record file F14 in the School Administrative Office.
