Demining in a village near Jalalabad. (left, right)
Left: Demining around the base of power pylons is an important part of infrastructure restoration. Initially, only the areas around the pylons are cleared so maintenance crews can access the towers. Later, the intervening land will be checked. Mostly only the tower bases were mined. Right: Working on a slope.
